切粒刀盘也是水下造粒机设备上的关键部件之一，其工作特性直接影响造粒产品的质量和造粒模板、切粒刀的使用寿命。

切粒刀盘分为固定式刀盘(刚性刀盘)和随动式刀盘(挠性刀盘)两种。

由于模板热应力和水下切粒机导轨基础沉降而产生的变形，容易造成安装在固定式刀盘上的切刀刃带与模板造粒带之间出现间隙，在造粒过程中发生垫刀、缠刀、甚至灌蜡等现象，直接影响到树脂颗粒外观质量和生产效率。固定式刀盘对切粒刀、模板的安装调整要求很高。近几年来，新的设备已逐渐改用随动式刀盘。
